WRINKLES
My fashion design inspiration originates from a profound and often overlooked aesthetic element - human wrinkles. In most people's perceptions, wrinkles are generally viewed as signs of aging, something to be smoothed out and concealed. However, to me, wrinkles are a unique manifestation of beauty, a poem of life imprinted on our skin, a distinctive mark left by time on us.
The wrinkles on our bodies, like the lines around the eyes left by frequent smiles, are testimonies to the joy and optimism of loving to smile. They resemble the texture of trees, layered upon each other, narrating the tales of history, the growth rings of the tree trunk, recording each year's growth, and the veins of tree leaves, exhibiting the power and charm of life and reproduction.
Every design, every detail, I hope to express a kind of acceptance and respect for nature, especially for the natural changes on our bodies. Wrinkles are testimonials of time, memories of the life we have lived. We should not feel anxious about them, on the contrary, we should cherish them, regard them as works of art on our bodies, for they are the true us.
Therefore, my design inspiration comes from human wrinkles, from the life stories they depict, from the depth and rich dimensions they add to our appearance. Through my designs, I hope everyone can rediscover and appreciate their own wrinkles, transforming these special lines into the language of fashion, giving new meaning and value to our skin.
